Service Description

These classes are designed for homeschoolers to enjoy a half day of music, art and writing classes on a weekly basis. Parents can *drop their children off for the morning session which runs from 9-12, or the afternoon session from 1-4. Students will spend half of their time learning music theory through games, rhythm exercises, and playing piano, recorder, ukulele, the xylophone and various percussion instruments. The other half of the time, students will write puppet show and design puppets, and as well as prepare for both a winter concert and year end performance of a musical play in which we will create together with students enrolled in the custom program in which this years' idea is, Orphan Annie Meets Oliver Twist! Students will be provided with snacks and drinks, however should your child be on a restricted diet, it is best that you provide the snacks for them to ensure their safety. *Parents, you are welcome to stay for any or all of the class. You may also participate in the year end performance should you desire as there are parts for adults as well ... and would make for a wonderful production to have you included alongside your children!
